Rain Barrels by Laura Lynn

Laura has always loved plants and flowers, both inside and outside her home. After seeing how natural rainwater made her potted plants flourish, she wanted a way to gather more of it to use in her large garden during dry spells.

Rick stepped in to help, searching for the ideal parts and testing them in various configurations. The result was a rain barrel system with a water-tight seal to hold the water until Laura wanted to use it, a way to let water in but keep mosquitos out, and an efficient method to disperse the rainwater.

Living in the hills of Arkansas, Laura and Rick can now direct accumulated rainwater to wherever they want it to go, including through soaker hoses for slow watering on non-level surfaces. Their vegetables, flowers and other plants can drink natural rainwater even during the hot, dry summer months.

After checking out rain barrels during her research of the product, Laura realized that people needed an easier, less expensive way to conserve water. She wondered what her children's children would do for fresh water in their lives. Thus, the Rain Barrel Kit came to be. The world needs to preserve its natural water whenever we can - now and
for future generations.  Go green....it's worth it.
